Legislative Session Action Update

The Colorado Dental Board held a rulemaking hearing today to address the second half of the rules related to the Sunset Bill. Rule 1.34 regarding neuromodulators & dermal fillers were on the agenda to be discussed. Unfortunately, The Board felt there were still too many unanswered questions about scope for these injections and required training and tabled the final rulemaking for 1.34 until a future meeting.

We do not yet have the date when these rules will be addressed, but will keep you updated as we hear more.

Thank you to the CODHA leaders and our CDA colleagues for their engagement during this process. We understand that this timeline is not what any of us wanted, but please know that CODHA is working diligently on this and will continue to ensure that these rules are helpful and clear.
