In collaboration with the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), CODHA is proud to support the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact—an important legislative initiative that will eventually expand the ability of dental professionals to practice across state lines. However, please note that the compact is not yet active. ⏳
What Is the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact? 🤔
The Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact allows participating states to recognize each other's licenses, meaning dental hygienists and dentists can practice in multiple states without needing to apply for separate licenses in each one. This compact will eventually enhance mobility 🚗, access to care 🏥, and professional flexibility 💼.
